Questions we get asked, answered properly
Grouped by what you are probably trying to work out: whether the platform fits, what it covers, how long it takes and what it costs to run.
Platform & product
Teczen is a cloud platform that runs both the revenue and the delivery side of a property business: lead management, inventory, cost sheets, bookings and collections on one side; project budgets, engineering, procurement, stores, HR, payroll and finance on the other. They share one data model, so a booking updates inventory, the customer ledger and the project cash flow at the same moment.
No. Modules are licensed by plan, and most customers start with the CRM side, add collections and collections, then bring in project, procurement and finance control. Adding a module later does not require re-implementing masters you already hold.
Yes — dedicated apps for sales executives, site engineers and customers. Critical actions work with weak connectivity and sync when signal returns.
Inventory structures, pricing components, payment plans, approval matrices, document templates, workflows, roles and dashboards are all configuration rather than code. Custom development is reserved for genuinely unusual requirements, and we tell you before the contract when something falls into that category.
Sales & CRM
Listing portals, Meta and Google lead forms, your website and landing pages, missed-call and IVR numbers, WhatsApp, walk-in registers and referral submissions — all de-duplicated and attributed at the point of entry.
Inventory is a single live resource with holds, hold timers, waitlists and approval-gated release rules. When a unit is blocked or booked, every user in every branch sees it immediately.
Yes. Discount authority is defined per role and per project, with approval routing, expiry on approved discounts and a permanent audit trail of who approved what.
Yes — a branded self-service portal and app shows the cost sheet, payment schedule, receipts, documents, construction updates and service requests. Portal logins are not billed as platform users.
ERP, projects & finance
Project setup and budgets, engineering and BOQ, contractor work orders and running account bills, procurement and stores, vendor management, finance and tax, assets, HR and payroll, documents, expenses and admin workflows.
Yes. Each entity keeps its own books, chart of accounts and statutory reporting, with group-level consolidation including inter-company elimination and JD/JV partner share.
Budgets are set by cost head at project launch. A purchase order or work order consumes budget when it is raised, not when the invoice arrives, so forecast-at-completion reflects commitments rather than only historical spend.
Yes. GST for India, VAT for GCC jurisdictions, TDS, and ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing for Saudi Arabia including EGS onboarding, invoice validation and real-time reporting.
Implementation & support
A focused CRM roll-out typically goes live in four to six weeks. A full ERP implementation across projects, engineering, procurement, finance and payroll usually runs eight to sixteen weeks depending on data migration and the number of legal entities.
Projects, towers and units, price lists, live pipeline, booked customers with full ledgers, vendor masters and open purchase orders are imported and reconciled in parallel with your existing system before cut-over.
Role-based training for sales, pre-sales, post-sales, projects, procurement and finance, plus a supervised first week, refresher sessions and a 30-day adoption review with leadership.
All plans include product updates, security patches, documentation and business-hours support. Professional adds priority response, and Enterprise includes a named support engineer with 24/7 escalation for critical issues.
Security, data & commercial
Data is held on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and can be restricted by entity, project, region and function, with audit logs on record changes. On-premises and hybrid deployments are available where residency rules require them.
No. Pricing is per named internal user. Customer portal logins are not billed as platform users.
Yes. Your data remains yours and can be exported in standard formats, including transactional history and documents, at any point during or at the end of the contract.
Yes. We support clients across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC with multi-currency, local tax treatment and bilingual documentation.
